Help & Support

Don’t wait until small issues become costly repairs. Reliable service, honest advice, and a free estimate across North Jersey.

Most of the expensive roofing work we do started as something small. A cracked pipe boot, a lifted shingle, a chimney that was caulked instead of flashed. None of those cost much to fix at the time. Left alone for two winters, the same problem takes out the deck, the insulation and a ceiling. So if something is bothering you about your roof and you're not sure whether it's serious, call and ask. We'd rather come out, get on the roof, and tell you it can wait than meet you after the ceiling comes down. Call or text (862) 374-7900 and we'll come and look at it.

How We Can Help

Free On Site Estimates

No charge, no obligation, no sales appointment at an office. We come to the house, get on the roof, photograph what we find, and hand you a written price with the materials named. You’ll be standing under the roof in question while we explain it.

Emergency and Active Leaks

If water is coming into your house right now, say so on the call and we’ll prioritize it. We can usually get a tarp on quickly. Tarp first, diagnose after. Trying to find the exact cause while your ceiling is filling is the wrong order.

Honest Second Opinions

If you’ve been quoted for a full replacement and you’re not sure it’s warranted, we’ll look and tell you what we see. Sometimes the answer is that the other contractor was right. Sometimes it’s that you have a flashing problem and five years of roof left.

Insurance Claim Documentation

Storm damage claims come down to cause, and cause comes down to photographs taken before anyone touches the roof. We document what we find and write it up the way your adjuster needs to see it.

Permits and Inspections

Most New Jersey municipalities require a permit for roofing and siding work. We handle the permit application and schedule the inspection as part of the job, so nothing is left for you to chase.

Workmanship Warranty

Our labor is warranted in writing, alongside the manufacturer warranty on the materials. We’ll also tell you plainly when a repair is a stopgap on a roof near the end of its life rather than a lasting fix. You should know which one you’re buying.

What Happens When You Call

We don’t have an office, and that’s deliberate. Here’s what happens instead.

1. You call or text (862) 374-7900 and describe what’s going on. If water is coming in now, tell us on that call.
2. We come to the house, usually within 24 to 48 hours. We get on the roof rather than looking at it from the driveway, and we go into the attic where it’s accessible.
3. We photograph what we find and show you the photos, so you’re looking at the actual problem instead of taking our word for it.
4. You get a written estimate, itemized, with the materials named and the scope spelled out.
5. If you go ahead, the work gets scheduled. We pull the permit, protect your landscaping and your neighbour’s property, clean up with a magnet sweep, and walk the job with you before we leave.

No showroom overhead means our pricing reflects the work, not a lease.

When to Call Us

None of these are emergencies on their own. All of them get worse and more expensive if nobody looks at them.

– A ceiling or wall stain, even a dry one. A dry stain means the water stopped, not that the path closed.
– A damp or musty smell after rain, particularly near a chimney or a fireplace
– Shingles missing, lifted or curling after a windy stretch
– Grit and granules collecting in the gutters or at the base of the downspout
– Sagging or ponding on a flat or low slope roof after heavy rain
– Peeling paint or wallpaper on an interior wall of an exterior wall
– Soft spots when you press on the siding, especially low down
– An ice dam at the eaves last winter that you never got looked at
– A roof you know is somewhere past twenty years old, with no idea what condition it’s actually in

What We Handle and What We Refer Out

What we handle

Roof replacement, roof repair and leak tracing, flat and low slope membrane work, storm damage, chimney flashing and masonry, siding, soffit and fascia, and skylights.

What we refer out

We don’t sweep flues or inspect liners. That’s a certified chimney sweep’s trade and a fire safety matter rather than a water one. We don’t do gutter work either, which is worth knowing when we tell you your leak is actually an overflowing gutter, because we have no reason to say it unless it’s true. Full structural masonry rebuilds from the roofline down are a mason’s job.

Telling you the honest answer costs us a small job and buys us a customer. That trade has always been worth making.

Advice We Give That Doesn’t Make Us Money

  • If your leak is worst in cold weather with no rain involved, that’s condensation and better ventilation in the room will fix it. Roofing won’t.
  • If you get ice dams every January, the repair fixes the roof, but attic ventilation and insulation is what actually stops it happening again.
  • If your gutters overflow, water gets pushed behind the fascia and into the roof edge, and it presents exactly like a roof leak.
  • If your roof has two years left, a repair is money into a dead asset, and we’ll say so rather than taking the work.

Frequently Asked Questions

No. We come out, get on the roof, photograph what we find, and give you a written price at no cost and with no obligation.

Usually within 24 to 48 hours for a standard inspection. Active leaks get prioritized, so tell us on the call if water is coming in now.

Move what you can out of the way and put a bucket down. If the ceiling is bulging with trapped water, a small hole at the lowest point will drain it in a controlled way instead of the ceiling coming down. If the leak is anywhere near a light fixture or an electrical box, cut the power to that circuit.

Yes, and we’ll give you a straight one. If the other contractor was right, we’ll say so. If what you actually have is a flashing failure on a roof with years left in it, we’ll say that instead and show you the photographs either way.

No. We’re a mobile operation, and we come to you. For siding and roofing colors we bring samples to the house, which means you’re choosing against your actual walls in actual daylight rather than under fluorescent lights.

We document the damage photographically before any work is done, which is what establishes cause, and we write it up in the form your adjuster is going to ask for. Sudden storm damage is usually covered. Gradual failure from age and wear usually isn’t.

Most New Jersey municipalities require one for roofing and siding work. We handle the application and the inspection scheduling as part of the job. If a contractor offers you a cash price with no permit, understand what you’re giving up: no inspection, and a problem at resale.

Yes. Registered with the New Jersey Division of Consumer Affairs as a home improvement contractor, with liability insurance and workers’ compensation. We provide the certificate before work starts.
